28/06/11Thank you so much for the friendly and homely stay! Yum Apple Crumble, I am starting to miss it loads as its always nice a hot with some cool ice cream. Thanks to all of your staff who were chatty and chilled, also thanks to Katrin for booking my Queen Charlotte Track. Will have to stop on my way back North as this is such a cool little hostel. 20/06/11I stayed at Noeline's Homestay back in early March. The postcard I sent her upon return has been returned with an 'insufficient address' 'no point of delivery' label on it. But I know she receives mail! Please could you e-mail me her full address? (I put the Homestay, QCT + bay & inlet names, QC Sound - I thought she was famous enough for that to find her! I've loved the cozy friendly atmosphere here and appreciate all the details of comfort you added to my experience - I loved breakfast and especailly warm Apple Crumble. 13/02/11Had a wonderful time at the Villa over the Christmas holidays. Cosy and friendly and welcoming too. Took Milly the gorgeous labrador dog to Humphey's Dam (or should I say Milly took me)!. She loves walks!! Cheers to you all at the Villa - coming agian soon!!Basil

31/12/10I stayed there twice in 1998 and 1999. I was there for New Years eve in 1999 and the place was amazing back then. I still rember how wonderful Rob and Carolyn were. I still have the t-shirt from my visit. I did the walk along the sound and what a beautiful hike. Picton was great and the Villa is a fantastic place to stop and meet some great people. Some day I will get back there.Sharon B.

01/09/10My friend and I stayed at the Villa in August 2010 and really enjoyed it! I even took the dog for a walk, albiet short, and she gave me the stare when we got back. We took advantage of the hot tub and loved the apple crumble at night. On my next visit to New Zealand, I am definitely making a longer stopover in Picton and staying at the Villa. Thanks again!Heidi

30/06/10Gorgeous Villa, loved everything about it, really homely and all the staff so friendly & helpful. Lots of little added extras that make the stay here so perfect and relaxing! The spa pool, the apple crumble, beautiful (compliments to the chef), nice and clean and a great atmosphere! The best hostel I've stayed in by far! 08/06/10In the last 25 years I never realised what a lovely place Picton is. Over the years i had wonderful holidays near Diffenbach Point. The Sounds are great. On the top of all I had a plesant, cool stay at The Villa. I am sure I come back even if I am not a young backpacker anymore. Thank you very much to the host and his crew!Edith

28/02/10The only word i can say (if its considered a word) is WOW what a beautiful hostel. The staff were super nice and cool, the court yard or shall i say the court yards are fantastic for just hanging out and relaxing or drinking with your pals. the tree house is off the ground which is a good sign and also a nice place to sneek off and do somthing fun................... like play scrabble. if you are in the area you sould really check out this home away from home.
