Facilities
We offer our guests many great facilities at the Villa - Kitchens, lounges, excellent accommodation, email and internet . . . . the list goes on. . . .!
Kitchens
The Villa has two fully equipped kitchens, one in the main building and one next door in the Cottage, guests may use either, breakfast is out in the main kitchen for self-service daily during the winter months. Our BBQ kitchen is in the back garden between the two buildings, with undercover seating, table, prep bench, sink and gas BBQ.
Lounges
Our seperate TV lounge is equipped with a large screen TV, DVD, VCR and SKY TV to enjoy movies and all the sports channels. Our inside lounge is a quiet place, great for conversations and lots of games and puzzles. We have music playing outside with speakers to the spa courtyard, we will play guests requests or own music when requested.
Laundry
The Villa has two coin operated washer and dryers, one laundry in each building and plenty of washing line space to take advantage of the Marlborough sun.
Entertainment
We have a big dual X Box stand up console in the main courtyard for all the game freaks and car racing drivers.
Spa & BBQ
We have a large Hot Spa, free to use between 8.30am and 10.00pm for all guests.
We offer 'complimentary Yellow Rubber Ducks'.....
There is a gas BBQ outside free for all guests to use.
Email, Internet & phone Services
Currently The Villa has two well equipped computers with skype capability in the Cottage and one computer in the main house, for guests to use at their leisure. Here you can access the Internet and collect your email. There is Wifi throughout the main building and FREE internet nearby at the library.
We also offer a fax service and an International Card phone.
Gym & BIKES
The Villa has a gym machine for guest use free of charge. It is next to the bikes and TV lounge - Join our staff for a workout!
There are plenty of Bikes for sightseeing around Picton. Please note the bikes are not for use on the Queen Charlotte Track.
Storage
Store your packs, bikes, skis etc while you are on the Queen Charlotte Track or travelling around the South Island. Unfortunately we cannot store cars, but we can arrange storage for you.
